Slovenia issued a postage stamp in 2013 to commemorate the European Basketball Championship (EuroBasket 2013), which was hosted in Ljubljana. This stamp, catalogued as Michel number 1007, features the characteristic graphic elements of EuroBasket and was designed by Ariana Noršić. The face value of the stamp is €1.33, and it was printed on a small sheet consisting of six stamps and three vignettes. The Slovenian Post issued this stamp in partnership with EuroBasket 2013 and the Philatelic Union of Slovenia as part of the event’s official celebrations. The first copy of the stamp was ceremonially handed to EuroBasket 2013 Ambassador Ivo Daneu, highlighting its significance in commemorating the tournament.
