The Post of Serbia participated in the EUROPA 2019 joint issue, which featured the common theme of National Birds.

The issue highlights two distinct and beautiful bird species found in Serbia.

Featured Birds:

The two stamps feature the following birds:

1. Squacco Heron (Ardeola ralloides)
   • Description: A small heron known for its buff-brown plumage that changes dramatically to white when in flight, due to the color of its wings.
   • Denomination: 100 RSD (Serbian Dinars)
2. Wallcreeper (Tichodroma muraria)
   • Description: A distinctive, small passerine bird with large crimson patches on its wings, which it uses to creep up cliffs and rock faces.
   • Denomination: 69 RSD (Serbian Dinars)

The stamps, like all EUROPA issues, feature the common official EUROPA logo as part of their design. The Squacco Heron entry was highlighted as Serbia’s submission for the “Most Beautiful EUROPA Stamp 2019” competition.
