Liberia stamps year 1975 Nobel Prize Winners Albert Schweitzer set

The Liberia stamps issued in 1975 to commemorate Nobel Prize winner Albert Schweitzer celebrate his 100th birthday. This set includes multiple stamps and often a souvenir sheet featuring Albert Schweitzer as a surgeon at the Lambarene Hospital. The stamps were lithographed by Format International Security Printers in England, printed on unwatermarked paper, and perforated 13½ or 14.

These sets exist in both regular perforated and imperforate versions, with imperforates produced in quantities of around 5,000 sets, making them quite common among collectors. The set is catalogued as Scott #709-14 and C208, with souvenir sheet Scott #1246 among others. They are available in mint never hinged (MNH) condition from various seller listings and philatelic dealers.
