These stamps were produced during the existence of the unrecognized Serbian Krajina entity within Croatia and are now collected mainly for their historical significance.

Key Details of Serbian Krajina Stamps (1993–1997):

  • 1993 Definitive Issue:
Released on March 24, 1993, this set featured the coat of arms of the Republic of Serbian Krajina, with denominations ranging from 200 to 100,000 dinars. The stamps were printed in sheets of 100 with perforation 13¼. Overprints and surcharges appeared later in the year.
  • Subsequent Issues (1994–1997):
Stamps issued during these years included themes such as tourist attractions, archaeological sites, climbing plants, and commemorations like the 50th anniversary of the end of WWII (1995), and notable figures such as Nikola Tesla (1996).
The 1994 tourist attraction stamps came in multiple denominations and colors, some issued imperforate.
In 1996, a Europa CEPT “Famous Women” set was released.
In 1997, stamps commemorated cultural and religious landmarks, including the Ilok Orthodox Church.
