Bosnia – R. Srpska year 2010 – Europa CEPT Children Books MNH
Europa CEPT (Conférence Européenne des Administrations des Postes et des Télécommunications) is an organization that coordinates postal and telecommunications services among European countries. However, it has also issued stamps featuring children’s books as part of its Europa stamp program.
The Europa stamp program, initiated in 1956, aims to promote cooperation between European postal administrations and to celebrate common aspects of European culture. Each year, member countries issue stamps on a common theme. In some years, the theme has been children’s books.
The stamps often feature illustrations from famous children’s books or characters beloved across Europe. These stamps are not actual books but rather postage stamps celebrating literature. However, they can draw attention to noteworthy children’s literature and encourage readers to explore the featured books further.
