Slovenia year 2011 Europa stamps – Forests set 2v New -MNH**
The Europa stamp theme for 2011 was the International Year of Forests, and Slovenia issued a beautiful set to commemorate it.
The Slovenian issue, released on May 27, 2011, featured two stamps:
- A stamp depicting a beech tree (a characteristic deciduous tree in Slovenia).
 - A stamp featuring the Sgerm Spruce (Sgermova smreka), which was one of the tallest trees in Europe, growing in the Pohorje region.

This set highlights Slovenia’s rich forest heritage and its dedication to nature, as forests cover a significant portion of the country’s land area.
