The set of five stamps features illustrations of different traditional wine cellar and store architectures from Slovenia’s distinct wine-growing regions, highlighting a significant part of the country’s rural cultural heritage.

The five stamps in the set depict the following structures:

1. Wine cellar or store below a house in the Primorska wine region (Southwestern Slovenia, near the Adriatic Sea).
2. Wine store of the klečaja (or klučaja) type in the Podravje wine region (Northeastern Slovenia, along the Drava River).
3. Vineyard cottage or zidanica in the Posavje wine region (Southeastern Slovenia, along the Sava River).
4. Wine store in the Posavje wine region.
5. Wine store of the his type in Bela Krajina (a sub-region of Posavje).

The stamps were issued with the following face values:

Note: The stamps were initially planned to have the face values of €0.48, €0.58, €0.70, €0.95, and €1.17, but the final published set included the A, B, C, €0.82, and €1.08 values. This use of tariff letters (A, B, C) indicates the stamps’ primary function to cover specific postal rates that may change over time, ensuring continued usability.
