The Stamps in the Set
The full set consists of two (2) different commemorative postage stamps, although they were often issued in a sheetlet that included vignettes (non-postage labels).
| Denomination | Michel Catalogue No. (YU) | Subject/Motif (Approximate) |
| 16.50 Din | MiNr. 3333 | Portrait of Nikola Tesla |
| 46 Din | MiNr. 3334 | Nikola Tesla and his Electric Generator |
Note on Format:
The stamps were often issued in a mini-sheet or sheetlet format containing multiple stamps and one or more accompanying vignettes (labels without postal value) in the center, which usually also featured Tesla or his inventions.
In 2006, the same year this set was issued, Montenegro declared independence, officially dissolving the state union of Serbia and Montenegro. Consequently, Serbia began issuing its own stamps under the name “Srbija” (Serbia) in the latter half of the year.
