Important Note on “Serbia 2003”:
In 2003, Serbia was part of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro (which was the successor to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia). The postal authority for this period was common, with stamps usually inscribed with the name of the state union.
Additionally, you may encounter a Bosnian-Serbian set from 2003. The postal administration of the Serbian entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina (Pošte Srpske in Republika Srpska) also issued a 2-value “Merry Christmas – New Year” set on December 5, 2003, with designs specific to their region.
