Russia USSR year 1950 Turkmen Republic Used stamps set
In 1950, the Soviet Union (USSR) issued a beautiful commemorative set to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic (established in 1924). Since Turkmenistan did not issue its own stamps until 1992, these are standard USSR issues specifically themed for the region.
