Liechtenstein issued a series of postage stamps in 1980 featuring the Coats of Arms of the chief magistrates. This set includes four stamps, each depicting a different coat of arms associated with prominent figures such as Andreas Büchel, Georg Marxer, Luzius Frick, and Adam Oehri. The stamps were designed by H.P. Gassner and engraved by Courvoisier, with perforation 11¾. The series was released on March 10, 1980, and includes mint and used examples, as well as full sheets of 20 stamps.

These stamps are cataloged under Michel numbers 743 to 746 and Scott numbers 681 to 684. They are considered special stamps and were issued as a complete set as well as individually. The set is known as “Coats of Arms of the chief magistrates” from Liechtenstein in 1980, with various face values from CHF 0.40 up to CHF 1.10.

In addition to individual stamps, these are also available as blocks of four, full sheets, and on first day covers.
