Finland 1931 Mi167-168 (complete edition)  Mint never hinged (**) postage stamps

In 1931, Finland issued several definitive postage stamp series featuring various designs:

Zeppelin Issue (April 1931):

  • Small set of 3 stamps issued for use on zeppelin airmail
  • Featured the Finnish coat of arms and inscribed “LENTOKULJETUS”
  • Denominations of 10mk, 25mk, and 40mk

Coat of Arms Definitive Series (October 1931):

  • New regular definitive series released in late 1931
  • Designs depicted the crowned lion from the Finnish coat of arms
  • Denominations from 5 penni to 25 markka
  • Printed using engraved plates in different colors

Quadrille Paper Issue (1931):

  • Unique set printed on paper with a quadrille line background
