In 1998, Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the EUROPA stamp series themed “Festivals and National Celebrations.” The Croatian Post Mostar issued a stamp on April 1, 1998, commemorating the World Festival of Animated Films held in Zagreb. Designed by Nikola Šiško, the multicolored stamp had a face value of 6.50 Kuna, with a print run of 150,000 copies. ​

The 1998 EUROPA series featured stamps from 56 countries, each highlighting unique festivals and national celebrations, resulting in a diverse collection of 94 stamps that year.
