Bosnia Herzegovina year 2006 EUROPA Stamps – Integration MNH
The EUROPA stamp common theme for 2006 was “Integration as seen by young people”.
Due to the unique postal structure in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the stamps for this theme were issued separately by the country’s three different postal administrations:
- BH Pošta (Sarajevo – Federation of BiH Post): Likely issued a set of stamps on the theme “Integration of immigrants.”
- Hrvatska Pošta Mostar (Mostar – Croatian Administration Post):
- Issued a stamp (or stamps) on the “Integration” theme.
- They also issued a miniature sheet on the theme of the “50th Anniversary of the First EUROPA Issue” (1956-2006), with a value of 2.00 KM (Convertible Marka).
- Pošte Srpske (Banja Luka – Republika Srpska Post): Issued a stamp (or stamps) on the “Integration” theme, with some sources listing a set of 2 stamps.
While the general theme was consistent, the individual designs and denominations varied for each postal entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as is common with their stamp issues. The theme of “Integration” reflected the broader European focus on cultural diversity and the perspective of youth on social integration.
