Bosnia year 1900/1911 – 20h stamps MH
The Bosnia 1900/1911 – 20h stamp is a definitive stamp that was issued during the period of Austro-Hungarian rule in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The stamp features the coat of arms design and was printed in various colors and perforations over the years.
In 1900, the 20h stamp was first issued with a perforation of 10 1/2. It was printed in a dark color on white paper. This original 1900 issue is catalogued as Mi 16B and has a catalog value of €180 for mint hinged copies.
The stamp was later reprinted in 1911 with a lighter color and on very white paper. The 1911 reprint also has a perforation of 10 1/2. Mint hinged copies of the 1911 reprint are available from some dealers.
Collectors of Bosnia and Herzegovina philately can find both the original 1900 issue and the 1911 reprint in mint hinged condition. Used examples may also be available, but in general, mint stamps are more sought after by collectors
